Kasal – The Tagalog word for “wedding”
For my wedding, Rachel Rodriguez, of Rachel Craft Co., made several custom signs for my reception decor. Rachel is a Filipino American who creates beautiful handmade accessories, decor & paper crafts.
I sent her my ideas for wedding signs and when she showed me the final product I was so thrilled. They turned out beautiful!
Disclosure Statement: I received complimentary wedding signs as a gift. However, as always, all opinions are my own. Read full blog disclosure statement.
Wedding Signs that fit your personality
I had a travel themed reception – both my husband and I have traveled and lived abroad. He speaks Spanish as a second language and I speak Tagalog (or at least I try) as a second language, so this trilingual welcome sign was perfect for us:

We are both Catholic and had met each other at a church bible study. I wanted to have a sign that would reflect our faith. After researching a few ideas, I finally decided to go with a scripture verse using First Corinthians.

And this gifts and cards sign added the final elegant touch to our gifts table.

These wedding signs were perfect! The wood had a nice rustic color and was lightweight enough to carry or place wherever without any difficulty. The lettering was even and professional.
I remember I had been considering at one time to make my own signs as a DIY project. But looking at the quality of the signs I got from Rachel, I’m so glad I decided to go with her instead of trying to tackle that project by myself! It was one less thing I had to worry about.
As a surprise, Rachel also made us another sign for our home! We keep it near our coffee and tea station.

I definitely recommend contacting Rachel if you’re thinking about having some decor signs at your wedding or at other special events. Take away the stress from having to make everything yourself and let someone else make your vision into reality.
